In the 20 th century, Banks and financial institutions were experiencing considerable difficulties in recovering loans and enforcement of securities charge with them, the earlier procedure for recovery of debts due to the banks and financial institutions has resulted in a significant portion of the fund's blockage [2] . Difference Between Theft, Robbery And Extortion And Procedure Established For The Same In Indian Cr.P.C. Introduction Earlier there was no uniform law of criminal procedure for whole country. There were separate acts which were applicable in different provinces and presidency towns.
